News Article recording to Practice Your RP British Accent

Listen to Part 3 of the News article - "Failure Drives Rocky Entrepreneurs…"

This collection of news article recordings are designed to provide you with listening and speaking practice to help you improve your RP British accent and to give you more confidence with your conversational speech.

Listening is key to getting an authentic british accent.  Listen to the different Sounds of the different words and try to replicate them.  Listen carefully as they may not be familiar to you in your native accent.

Try and notice how words and sounds change slightly when used in sentences rather than spoken individually.  The words sometimes 'run together' and sounds and words can be lost or changed.

More information about these features that are found in connected speech can be found in one of the modules in the Ultimate RP British Accent Learning Resource
